Ministering to veterans, widows and their children, defending the constitution of the United States, mindful of the Gospel message- all for God and country
Description
The CWV was started in 1935 by a WWI Army Chaplain named Fr. Edward J. Higgins in Astoria, New York. We have been supporting our nation's military veterans for almost 75 years, and as such, we are one of the oldest Veterans Service Organizations in the nation.
