I am really depressed over problems in my personal life and my marriage.  I am not even sure it is a marriage.  I have tried to talk to one of my local priests but haven't got good results.  How do I ask questions to Deacon Anthony?  Are the only questions I can as are those about the faith?  I have lots of faith, its answers I need.  I need to know what to do.  I want to know if there is anyplace in ecatholic I can chat with someone.  I feel completly identified with my login name of  LostJoseph

Lost Joseph, maybe you can search for a spiritual catholic director, to hear you and give you guidance, we all need someone we can trust to help put things in order sometimes, call your pastor and ask if he can recommened a few for you to call, then you choose who seems comfortable jesus will not let you down when you seek councel just be pateient pray and inquire,he will devinely appoint someone to you,,he has for many of us catholics , you can also go to catholictherapist.com and search for someone nearby, they are like hidden treasure, you are  blessed if you could find one , God Bless ill pray for you,,  god Bless

Lost Joseph... we're all lost! (in a way) and found in another way!
I believe that the best councelor, the best therapist, the best teacher, the best friend is Jesus... and He does speak to us in our hearts! But sometimes we can't listen, because our minds are trying to come up with answers by ourselves... I tend to forget to let myself go and trust in Him completely...then another 'tool' He uses is His Word, the Holy Bible, ALL the answers to all our questions are there, when we open up our hearts to be guided...
Yet sometimes we still feel we can't find an answer and I found that a priest helped me a LOT to see things through someone else's glasses..., remember that you're never ALONE! we're all walking together and if we don't help oneanother to be closer to Him, to His Will for us, then what are we doing here?
Seek! seek for answers and let those answers find you as well
Peace be with you!

In response to: "How do I ask a question to Deacon Anthony?" You have to log in first (on the left side of the screen), then go to the "Ask A Deacon" portion of the webpage (it's under the forum option @ the top of the page) & there will be a little tab at the top of that page that says New Topic & that's where you can ask. A lot of people get guidance about life/ marriage, not all are questions about faith.
