I just joined this forum a few days ago.  I have already received a warm welcome from several members, when I posted on another thread.  Thank you!

I was raised in a Protestant Pentecostal home.  I married a man who became a pastor in the same denomination in which I was raised.  However, over a period of time (and through a series of events) God began leading my husband to read the Fathers.  Thus began our journey home to Rome.  We eventually left our denomination and became affiliated with another, which we thought to be "more" Catholic.  It was not.

In September, we began RCIA.  Our two young boys are in RCIC.  We will all be received into the Church one week from today, at the Easter vigil.

It has been a long journey.  Our parents and siblings are struggling with our decision, as they are all Protestant.  We know this is the right place for us, though.  We are taking it one step at a time, and seeking God's direction for our future.
