good evening

I was just on Ebay, which I am often and have bought many things there.  Today while there i noticed there were three (3) first class catholic relics up for auction.  Made my heart sad first of all but Ebay specifically prohibits the selling of human remains which a first class relic would be. I reported all three items (whether they will be removed remains to be seen).  The point of me posting here is to remind everyone that while the buying and selling of relics is not prohibited under canon law if a dealer points out that he just offers an antique reliquary and if he gives the relic inside for free (as a gift), he does not act against the Canon Law, since the financial transaction refers exclusively to the reliquary, the "container" of the relic please remember this deal is for the person to venerate the saint and protect the relic not to make a profit.    Tell your friends and neighbors please.

thanks for listening
Catherine
