most recently had a chatter visit who was in favour of sweat shops as this person thought in most instances many people functioning under the regimes where sweat shops prevail, would have no other recourse to work.
Well. it is very unfortunate that our consumeristic mentality and bent to have the best of everything has us repressing others who are all part of God's loving creation.  In short sweat shops would qualify as one of the four sins which cry out to heaven for vengeance-namely- defrauding the worker of their rightfull due.

James 5:4
Behold the hire of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, which by fraud has been kept back by you, crieth: and the cry of them hath entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

So in no mutually exclusive way are we unaccountable (social sin) if one is bound not one is free.
