It has been a few years since I left the Catholic upbringing that I grew up with. I went to primary school with nuns. We prayed the Holy Rosary everyday before class for 6 years. Then I joined a Salesian High School. School Saint Francis of Sales in Caracas, Venezuela, Whose patron is Don Bosco.
A traumatic event when I was between 10 or 12, I forget, left me scars which led to a life of sex drugs and alcohol, for a few years I would go to protestant churches on and off, I even left the christian faith for a while to study buddhism on my own for 3 years.
It is time to come home, where my roots are. I have been praying the Holy Rosary now for about 4 weeks. I have attended mass and am in the process of annuling both my wife's and I's previous marriages so I can partake of communion with the rest at mass. Please pray for us that we find a solution to our dilemma, both my wife and I are on disability and neither one of us can afford the tab associated with the annulments.
