I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Ed and I am in Florida. I am married to a beautiful woman, and...well to make a long story short, after years of leaving catholicism I want to return. Its not going to be easy, for we got to find our certificates of divorce and annulments of our previous matrimonies, and I dont even know where to begin. How can we go about the process in an easier manner? Any ideas are welcome. Glad to be here and looking forward to mingling with you!
God bless you!

You first want to contact the Church where you were baptized for a copy of your baptismal record. If they were done properly, they should have recorded there, when you were married, the anuulment date and the case number. Thats where you should begin.

However, if you don't mind me asking, why do you need all of this? Where the two of you married outside of the Church? If you don't feel comfortable answering these quesions I understand but the priest who you talk to in your area will. It will help in pointing you in the right direction.

Welcome back to the Church! We still have your seat for you.\

Thanks for welcomming me, now I have two new posts, I did not find my post (this one today so I decided to reintroduce myself. Yesd I have talked to the Priest of the Church I want to join, but I am afraid that those documents of baptism, confirmation etc are either missing, or in Venezuela./ Cuba somewhere...Please pray that God's will be done and I (we ) are accepted back in the church.
 Thank you
and God bless you...
