Hi.  I went through RCIA and the only thing addressed on this topic was that one should be respectful.  I've had discussions with a couple online Catholic friends and was informed that there is a dress code.  It existed prior to Vatican II and is still there, although not enforced.  These discussions came about due to summer and what is worn by some when they attend Mass.  Myself, I feel some 'outfits' are very inappropriate.  Am I just old and outdated or are others made to feel a little uneasy at what some wear?  I refer to cut off jeans, concert shirts, skirts a little on the short side and blouses a little on the low side.
I'm curious how others feel about this.  Is there a dress code?  Should there be a dress code?   How would/could it be enforced?
Tks for your time, thoughts and imput.
  Peace
