 I want to ask you all a question. Before you read other people's answers, try adding your own first. Then read what the others have said. I think this will be interesting. So, no cheating!!

Question: What does it mean when the Bible says, "the head of a woman is her husband"?

"But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God." (1 Cor. 11:3)

 The head of the woman is her husband? I would have to say the man should be as St. Paul states, as in love with the woman as Christ is with His church. Then the woman can be obedient to the man, and He will cherish her forever. If the man does not love Christ and does not know how to give 100% to Him then he can not be disappointed when the woman hides the head in a paper bag-or worse!

 I would have to say that this pertains to everybody being in perfect alignment with God's Word-a woman is not subject to the authority of a heathen husband. Two can't be unevenly yoked!
